a panel discussion and networking
following the session.
HARTLEPOOL EVENT
Overcoming Barriers
Held at The Northern Studios in
Hartlepool, the focus of the event
was on ways of accessing the industry
and overcoming barriers. The event
brought new starters together with
established producers, production
companies and heads of departments.
The panel discussion and training were
available online and in person.
MANCHESTER EVENT
Mental Health
and Wellbeing
The event was held at Space Studios
and brought together new starters,
established producers and heads of
departments to focus on workplace
culture in the olm and television
industry, and wellbeing on and of
camera. The panel discussion was
streamed as a webinar.
IMPACT
Feedback on the Connected Communities events hosted in Liverpool, Hartlepool and Manchester gave an average rating
of 4.27 out of 5, with 86.6% stating they gained new knowledge and tips they will take into their working practice and 66.6%
stating they made new professional contacts at the event.
